The light is fading fast here in upstate New York. Summer has just over a week left and we are seeing school and college begin to cut our competitors list. It was looking to be a little bit of a slow nigh and the heat and haze had everyone moving slowly. As the sun began to set, the temperature dropped off and the fans began to fill the stands. That slow feeling changed pretty quickly into some great rodeo action.
We had a good scare from Nate Brown on that bucking bronc. Usually when a horse tries to wipe you off his back you leave the ring in pieces. I sure was surprised when Nate popped out from the horse and took off like a jack rabbit to safety. That guy has grit!
